Tom Wilson Glisson, 69, died January 17, 2011 at Gaston Memorial Hospital.
A native of Gaston County, he was the son of the late Wilson Fotch and Sadie Sikes Glisson.
He was a US Navy Veteran, worked as an automotive parts salesman and was a member of First Assembly of God.

Survivors include his wife of 44 years, Katherine "Kitty" Moore Glisson; son & daughter in law, Todd & Chrissy Glisson of Gastonia; grandchildren, Catherine & Joseph Glisson; sister & brother in law, Geneva & Don Cunningham of Kings Mountain, brother & sister in law, David & Helen Glisson of Gastonia; sister & brother in law Betty & Ronnie Hicks of Gastonia.

A service to celebrate Tom's life will be held at 7:00PM, Thursday, January 20, 2011 at First Assembly of God with Pastor David Scruggs officiating.
The family will receive friends following the service.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First Assembly of God, Royal Rangers Program, 777 S. Myrtle School Rd., Gastonia, NC 28052.
