GASTONIA – Linda Kay Hanna Deal died Friday, Dec. 10, 2010, at her residence.
A service is scheduled for 1 pm Tuesday, Dec. 14, 2010, at Linden ARP. Rev. Mike Lineberger will officiate. Interment will follow at Gaston Memorial Park in Gastonia.
The family will receive friends from Noon to 1 pm Tuesday at Linden ARP.
Mrs. Deal was born in Gastonia. She was a daughter of the late Mack Pearson Hanna and Zuba Boyd Hanna. She worked for the State of North Carolina in the clerical division. She was a member of Linden ARP.
Mrs. Deal is survived by her husband of 49 years, Bill Deal; son, William Deal and wife Stacey of Gastonia; brothers, Bob Hanna and wife Ruby of Gastonia, and Harold Hanna and wife Pat of Gastonia; sister, Peggy Simpson and husband Paul of Charlotte; and grandchildren, Taylor and Heather Deal.
In addition to her parents, Linda was preceded in death by twin granddaughters, Hannah Kay and Sarah Kristin Deal.
Linda requested that instead of flowers, memorials be made in her name to Linden ARP Church, 205 S. Myrtle School Road, Gastonia, NC, 28052 and/or Gaston Hospice, PO Box 3984, Gastonia, NC, 28054.
