 GREENSBORO - Joann S. "Jo" Cline, 74, passed away peacefully on July 25, 2015, at Whitestone Community.
The funeral services will be held 3 p.m. Saturday, August 1, 2015, at Forbis & Dick Funeral Home, 5926 W. Friendly Avenue, Greensboro. Visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m. The service will be followed by in-terment in New Garden Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Mary and Joe Schlagenhauf.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, J. Donald Cline; brother Johnny Schlagenhauf, and sisters Rea Schlagenhauf and Sandy Powers.
Jo was born in Bluffton, IN, and moved to North Carolina in 1948. She lived most of her life in Greens-boro.
Jo Cline was a loving partner with her husband, Don, in Business, ballooning, education, and philan-thropy. She owned the BalloonPort of Greensboro and actively managed it for more than 30 years. Jo was a co-founder of the Pisgah Astronomical Research Institute (PARI), where she is lovingly remem-bered as "The First Lady of PARI."
