Helen Stroupe
GASTONIA Helen Moore Stroupe, 73, passed away June 10, 2015, at Duke University Hospital. She was born Aug. 15, 1941 in Cherokee County, daughter of the late William and Nora Marie Moore.
Helen is survived by her husband of 33 years, Marshall "Buddy" Stroupe; two sons; one sister; four grandchildren and seven greatgrandchildren.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
A funeral service will be held 3 p.m. Saturday at Greene Funeral Service, South Chapel, 1503 S. York Road, Gastonia, officiated by Pastor Larry McCalister and Darrell C. Current, DDS.
Visitation will be from 1 to 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Gaston Memorial Park.
