BESSEMER CITY — Helen Hoyle Brown, 64, of 540 Diane 29 Theatre Road, died April 12, 2005, at Gaston Memorial Hospital, Gastonia.
She was a native of Asheville, N.C., daughter of the late Luther and Mary Black Hoyle
FUNERAL: 11 a.m. Saturday, Community Full Gospel Tabernacle, Gastonia
INTERMENT: Armstrong Cemetery, Gastonia
VISITATION: 6-8 p.m. tonight, Carothers Funeral Home, Gastonia
She retired after 22 years as Executive Assistant from Public Service of North Carolina, previously worked as Secretary for Akers Motor Lines and member of Community Full Gospel Tabernacle, Gastonia, N.C.
SURVIVORS: Husband of 30 years, George Darrell Brown; aunt, Rev. Louise Fowler of Gastonia; cousins, Marie Froneberger, David Froneberger and Angela Cochran of Gaston County, N.C., Joy Revels of Gastonia, N.C.; friend, Evelyn Champion of Gastonia, N.C.
