Clyde Benjamin Brafford

DALLAS — Clyde Benjamin "Ben" Brafford Jr., 58, of 342 Dallas-Bessemer City Highway, died Sept. 23, 2004, at Gaston Memorial Hospital, Gastonia.
He was a native of Gaston County, born Jan. 6, 1946, son of the late Clyde Benjamin and Bessie Perkins Brafford Sr.

He was a self-employed landscaper. Mr. Brafford also attended First Presbyterian Church in Dallas, NC, and was a Mason and a Shriner. He was a Past Master and member of King Solomon Lodge #704 and was a member of the Gaston Co. and Crowders Mountain Shrine Clubs, as well as the Oasis Shrine Temple.

He was the beloved "Poppi" to the lights of his life, his beautiful granddaughters, Madison and McKenna Roseberry. Also surviving are his sister-in-law, Mary Brafford of Charlotte, NC; his close friend and business associate, Gary Crockett of Dallas, NC, and numerous nieces and nephews
