Rest in Peace, Happy Jack and your brother Grey. We grew up in the Belvedere/Craig Neighborhood and then your family moved to the Lineberger Park area and then we reconnected in high school My brothers and you and Grey were good friends. We had alot of fun and good times.

A good time that's an understatement what a fun guy to be around. I hate that he won't be at our reunion but I'll always remember the fun times we had together. I know your thoughts rest in peace my friend.

Steve and his family moved in beside us on third street. On day, after being gone all day, Steve showed up at our door and asked my brother Eddie "Where did my family go?". Seems his family had moved and not told him anything about the move. Always something going on when he was around.

There will never be another person as funny, good spirited, and so much fun to be around as Steve Melton. He kept me laughing all the time. We were in Jr High together and in High School as well. He was one of my dearest friends, as well as a close friend of John Wren. Now they both have past on. Maybe they are in Heaven together raising a ruckus. He will definitely be missed.

Steve Melton was the funniest and craziest person I knew at ASH--you could just look at him and laugh without him saying anything because you just knew that he was going to say something funny--he was also one of the friendliest people in school also--he liked everyone and everyone liked him.

Between Steve and Bob Burgess I never stopped laughing.....Two of the best gone but never forgotten.
