Michael Alan Dixon was born September 3, 1951.  He was the son of Joe Alvin Dixon and Nova Jean Wall Dixon.  He passed away on January 16, 1992 in Temple.  Mike played the trumpet in the Gatesville High School Band and "The Swinging Gates" stage band.  Mike was band president his senior year.  He attended Baylor University, then lived in Dallas.  Mike is interred in the Bellwood Memorial Park Mausoleum just outside of Temple.
