Nicky Earl Moore, age 58 of Gatesville, passed away on Thursday, May 7, 2026.

Celebration of Life services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 23, 2026, at Mound Cowboy Church with Pastor Matt Dossey officiating.

Nicky was born May 20, 1967 to the late Alton and Lavon Barnett Moore in Gatesville. He grew up in Gatesville, where he pursued a lifelong career of hard work and loyalty in carpentry. Carpentry not only brought Nicky mastery over house framing but the brotherhood of a lifetime through his coworkers. He dedicated his time to his family, friends, and church. He was a member of Grace Assembly Christian Church. 

Nicky was preceded in death by his mothers, Lavon Moore and Rita Cody; father, Alton Moore and wife Lola; stepsister, Brenda Dossey; grandson, Kaidyn Moore; and granddaughter, Maysen Moore.

He is survived by his son, Tyler Moore and wife Henley; daughter, Alyx Moore; sister, Becky Moore; stepsister, Lola Ann Lam and husband Mark; grandsons, Kellyn, Shiloh, Jasper, and August Moore; and granddaughters, Mackenzie Moore and Leona Castilleja.

Nicky will be forever loved and missed by many.
