Clint Dowell, 21, of Gatesville died Sept. 30, 1989, in an automobile accident.

Services were held Oct. 2 at Live Oak Baptist Church with Rev. Truman Turk officiating. Burial was in the Moody Cemetery.

Born July 3, 1968, in Fort Worth, he was the son of Emmett and Jane Dowell. He was raised and attended school in Gatesville, graduating in 1986 from Gatesville High School. He was formerly employed with Trinity Construction Co. in Ft. Worth. He was currently employed with Holden Construction Co. in Gatesville. He was a member of Live Oak Baptist Church.

Survivors include: his parents; paternal grandmother, Viola Dowell of Moody; and maternal grandparents, Ernest and Irene McKinney of Moody.

Pallbearers at the funeral were Landy Dowell, Chane Dowell, Chris Rhoads, Eric Washburn, Allen McDonald, and Jeff Hall.
