Troy Fisher

Troy Fisher, 47, died on August 8, 2015, from a tragic accident in Seldovia, Alaska.

Born in Park Rapids, MN on June 12, 1968, Troy was the youngest in the family of five children. As a child, following several moves between Minnesota and Alaska with the family, he resided in Gatesville, TX, where he went to high school. He then moved to Grand Junction, Colorado in pursuit of work and his dad. 

He met the love of his life, Jina Thomas, and together they had two children, Kayla and Brandon. Troy Fisher was a truck driver and diesel mechanic most of his life in the oil industry. He made friends easily and was always ready to help anyone in need. Troy loved his family and his kids deeply. 

Preceding him in death is his grandmother, Maxie Woods; mother, Cordia J. Fisher (Cornett); sister, Virginia A. Watson, his father, Leo F Fisher. He is survived by his children, Kayla and Brandon; sisters, Penny Enders of Wasilla, AK; Tammy Phillips of Priest River, ID; Jean Angus of Palmer, AK, many nieces and nephews.
Troy will truly be missed by his family, friends, and those who he worked with. He is forever in our hearts and memories. 

A celebration of Troy's life was held at 683 33 Road, in Clifton, on September 13 at 3:00 p.m.
