I run the after-school, parent, health, and community programs at an elementary school here in Chicago. I spend my days trying to avoid boring meetings, planning gigs for 7 year-olds to dance to "Ain't No Mountain High Enough," and trying to get 6th graders to stop saying "dumb ass" all the time (literally what I did yesterday). I get little kid hugs everyday and I'm learning Spanish-- it's the best job!
