Curtis R. Hatcher, 72, of Firth, died Friday,June 23, 2017. He was born in Cozad, NE on September 15, 1944 to Dale and Dorothy (Moellering) Hatcher. A U.S. Army Vietnam Veteran, he retired after 30 years with NPPD. He was a craftsman and loved to hunt and fish. He is survived by daughters Misty (Joe) Hendricks, Mindy (Joe) Popevis, Mandy Hatcher all of Lincoln; granddaughters Scarlett and Evangeline Popevis; life partner Andrea Padberg of Firth; daughter Megan (Kevin) Sorensen and children Justice, Tristan and Ethan; son Donnie and his daughter Jaeyden; brother Terry (Merna) Hatcher of Gering, NE .He was preceded in death by parents and brother Lanny.
