
Randy Forrester Brown, 55, died at McKee Medical Center in Loveland, Colo. on Tuesday, June 7, 2011. Memorial services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, June 13, at the First United Methodist Church in Gering, burial to follow at West Lawn Cemetery.

Randy was born June 30, 1955, in Scottsbluff to Melvin L. and Dorothy E. Brown. He lived in Longmont, Colo. and worked as a Fine Interior Trim Carpenter for the past 35 years. He was proud to have served his country honorably during the 1st Gulf War as a United States Navy Sea Bee. Randy was Honorably Discharged from the United States Naval Reserve on July 2, 1997, with the rate of Petty Officer 2nd Class.
Survivors include his parents, Melvin L. and Dorothy E. Brown of Gering; daughter, Jennifer E. Cutrell and son-in-law, Max of Erie, Colo.; nephew, Michael Olson-Jones and wife Lydia of Gering.
Preceding Randy in death was his sister, Cheryl Ann 'Cheri' Booth.
