And I smiled. Giacchino That's Funny Eric. I completely forgot about the song "Heat of the moment" The 80s station in Milwaukee is gone now. There is still one station that plays 80s on the weekends. It's always fun to bring back that little blast from the past. |

RE: 80's Posted Sunday, February 20, 2011 06:21 PM I'm fortunate that my company car has Sirius/XF satelite radio. Lovin' it. P1 is The Boneyard which is hard and heavy metal bands from the 70's and 80's. P2 is Hair Nation, like the name implies it's 80's hair bands. P3, 80's on 8, all the great 80's classics. My kid's were making fun of me the other day when I was rockin' out to Duran Duran's Rio. P4 is tuned to First Wave which is 80's alternative bands. Echo and the Bunnymen, The Cure, Depeche Mode, The Smiths, and so on. My wife and I are thinking of putting together an 80's party this summer. Parachute pants, leg warmers, and big hair are a must. Man, I miss the 80's. |

RE: 80's Posted Sunday, February 27, 2011 04:24 PM An 80s party sounds so fun! If you lived around here, I would totally invite myself. (Note my use of the word "totally.") My friend recruited me for a trivia contest last fall. We had to come up with a theme for our team, so we were called, "Nothin' but a good time" and dressed like an 80s Hair band. Her dad wanted to be on our team so bad, he agreed to wear a wig, but refused to wear eye makeup or spandex pants. (probably a good thing.) |
