Blame Clay Hawkins. It was his idea

After graduation, I joined the Marine Corps and served for 4 years. I got out in 92' and returned home to Phoenix for a short time and began pursuing a career in the arts. I also spent some time playing drums in some really bad local bands. I'll save those stories for later. I traveled and lived throughout the country for a while, Portland, San Francisco, New Orleans and ended up back in Phoenix in the late 90's and began making art full time. I've been active in the Phoenix downtown arts community and currently live in North Phoenix with my wife Eileen and our two dogs, Otis and Grace.

I was only at Gilbert for two years, but made some great friends. I'm still pretty close with Clay Hawkins and Joshua Daniel.

I remember being a big goofball through out most of my time at Gilbert. One classic moment of mine, and god knows there were plenty, was getting kicked off the track team for smoking a cigarette through the high jump pole. Nice move genius...
