Ugh. Just learned of this.  This saddens me to no end. I don't know what happened that caused Brenna's passing, but I remember having long good conversations to and from LDS Seminary with Brenna because we shared class there together.  She was a beautiful misunderstood person I found to be a kindred spirit.  I wish I could have said a more timely goodbye.

Thanks for posting this Devin, I was looking for her profile and could not find it. She was a great person that I enjoyed talking with also. The passing of all those individuals we went to high school (that I knew very well and not at all) with weighs heavy on mind, and makes me reflect on why them and why am I still here.

I am deeply saddened to hear the passing of Brenna. We were good friends in high school and I always wondered how her life turned out. We lost contact with each other, but I will always remember the fun times we had and I will cherish her memory forever. Brenna was an Awesome Friend and I will miss her so much.   My condolences to her family

I took Brenna out once... we went ice skating.  She was pretty wobbly and was hanging on to me tightly.  At one point, she fell and pulled me down with her... backwards.  I hit my head on the ice so hard, I recall seeing a bright flash of light.  The next thing I knew, I was waking up with about 30 people standing over me asking me if I was okay.  Brenna was one of them, but she was just standing there giggling.  They helped me up, and Brenna and I slowly made our way to the sitting area, and the whole time she kept suppressing a laugh.  I finally said something like, "I'm glad you found that so amusing.  What is so funny about me blacking out on the ice?"  Her reply: "You were lying there, and you just kept saying 'It hurts. It hurts.'"  (Which, by the way, I do not recall.)  And then she ceased all efforts at trying to suppress the laugh.

Thanks a lot, Brenna... thanks a lot!  Hahaha... Needless to say, I never took her out again after that.  But, I have told that story many times since, and it always makes me laugh.  In fact, I just thought of it the other day when I took my daughters ice-skating.

Very shocking to hear of her passing.  She was one of a kind!  Thoughts and prayers for her family!!!
