Diane Fliehman, 62, passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2007, in San Antonio.
A lifetime resident of Texas, she was married to her great love Roger for only 4 years before his death in 2003. Diane began her working career in nursing, but she soon turned to her love of retail to support herself, last working as a gift shop buyer for both The Alamo and Natural Bridge Caverns. She loved to entertain, whether for work or friends, and dressed up for everything from going fishing to dancing to cooking for crowds. Her bright, bubbly personality enchanted everyone who knew her and will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Roger. She is survived by 2 daughters, Beverly Hawkins and husband Dale of Seguin, TX, and Nedra Bunk and husband Jeremy of San Antonio; a son, Mitchel Kirkland of San Antonio; 2 grandchildren, Randi and Robin Hawkins; two brothers, Jeffrey Gullett of San Antonio, and Ronald Gullett of Gladewater, TX; 2 stepsons, Christopher Fliehman and wife Cindy, and Jeremy Fliehman; a stepdaughter, Gina Jeffries and husband Steve; and 4 stepgrandchildren, Grace Bunk, Michael Bunk, Alexis Fliehman and Trey Jeffries.
