Bill Reynolds

William “Bill” Joseph Reynolds, age 65 of Glendive, MT, passed away July 30th at Billings Clinic in Billings, MT.  Bill was born in Glendive, MT to Jack & Marge Reynolds on May 11, 1956.  Bill was the second of five boys. With four brothers, life was never boring. He was always the first to come up with a mischievous idea or go along with one.

He went to Sacred Heart Catholic School where he met many of his life long friends, some of who he still saw weekly until the time of his passing. Growing up, Bill was involved in sports and working at the family grocery store.

Bill met and married Jacki Hansen, also from Glendive. They were married almost 43 years. Together they had two children. They also built their own house, along with help from family and friends.
After graduating from Dawson County High School, he attended school in Wahpeton, ND where he graduated with an electrical degree and later became a Master Electrician and started Reynolds Electric. He loved Reynolds Electric, and many times he could be found driving around “checking on the guys.” Bill also worked for BNSF, in which he had just retired from after 30 years.
He always enjoyed his fishing trips to Canada with his dad and brothers. Oiler Camp up in Makoshika was also a highlight for him. Scuba diving on tropical vacations was at the top of his list. His last big fishing trip was to Alaska, where he had the time of his life. Emersyn and Breck, his two grandchildren, were the biggest joy in life. He enjoyed taking them for after school treats. He always had a hard time saying “no” to them.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jack and Marge; brothers Randy and Bob; father and mother in law Dick and Pat Hansen.

Bill is survived by his wife, Jacki; their children Josh Reynolds of Glasgow, Jessie (Travis) Huber of Glendive; grandchildren Emersyn and Breck Huber; his brothers Tom (Patty) Reynolds of Billings, John (Elena) Reynolds of Sidney; numerous nieces and nephews.
