What a sad story for the Bonovich Family. Earl and Kay, Joey's Dad and Mom are still alive and well and in their 80's. All of their sons passed away. Joey was first, then John the oldest in his 40's, then Jerry the youngest, when he was about 40, and then Bob when he was 55. Not only did I grow up with these boys but Bob was my sisters first husband right out of high school and was re-engaged to her when he suddenly died. The trauma was Bob passed away unexpectedly right in the Doctors office while my sister was there getting chemo for her cancer. My sister also passed away a year later. For a parent to lose a child is traumatic, but to lose all 4 sons makes them Saints. My Prayers to All of them and their familes
Joseph Bonovich died in a motorcycle accident on 3 September 1981, at 27 years old. He was an Army veteran, serving in 1974. He was the first of his four brothers to die prematurely.
