Robert C. Stephan, 57, died Tuesday, October 2, 2012, at his home in Leawoood Kansas. Originally from the Chicago area, Robert lived in the Kansas City, Mo., suburbs for the past 20 years. He was the owner of Stephan Services--a tax and payroll accounting firm for small businesses. He is survived by his wife, Ruth, his sister, Carol, 4 nieces, 1 nephew, 2 great-nieces and 1 great-nephew.
Unfortunately, I did not learn of Rob's passing until today. Thankfully, it was posted on our website. I remember Rob as a kind, intelligent and passionate person. His mother was an ever present feature in our middle school years. He will certainly be missed by his Glenview friends. My condolences to Ruth and the family.
