Longtime Steamboat Springs resident Chuck Bell died suddenly April 28, 2008, at his home.

Chuck was born Dec. 17, 1953, in Denver, and later grew up in Glenwood Springs. He came to Steamboat in 1991.

A much-loved husband, father and friend, Chuck will be truly missed.

Chuck is survived by his wife of 25 years, Irene; son Stephen; daughter Theresa; mother Alice; and brother Jerry of Glenwood Springs.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leo Bell.

A memorial mass was held May 2 at the Holy Name Catholic Church inSteamboat Springs.
