Please let us not forget Jeremy he always had me laughing and getting in trouble in class....lol If anyone has any pics of him please forward those to me so i can upload them...
I remember Jeremy Garcia. He was in my Culinary Arts class. He was a really good cook. He was friends with everyone. I still remember the day. The day before I was trying to get everything ready for my Senior Boards project. I was running in and out of Mr. Willis classroom. I had to take a picture of the food I was presenting and guess who was holding the food for me to take a picture of it. Jeremy Garcia. I saw him the last day before he died. He was having trouble with the Swiss Chocolate roll he was making in Mr. Willis class it kept breaking and he had tried the recipe 3 times now. He said if I just got some more sleep I would be good. I told him you need to go home like now.He said no I'm good. That was the very last conversation I had with Jeremy. The next morning I was sitting in my early morning Government class Mr. Daniels and the assistant principle came in and whispered something in Mr. Daniels ear. Mr. Daniels face went completely blank. You could hear some people laughing and giggling cause we didn't know what was going on. When he finally told us everyone in that room broke down. I really miss Jeremy .
If anybody ask you, Where I am going, Where I am going, Soon,
I'm going up to yonder, I'm going up to yonder, I'm going up to yonder, To be with my Lord.
wow...Jeremy. I will never forget that day we all found out. Everyone lighting candles and such down of TC Walker...it was crazy. If i recall right, it was one of the first deaths our class had really seen as adults. The last memories I have of Jeremy was seeing him with Nick HEnry all the time in Mr Willis' class and then with Elizabeth Massingill (sp?) in English that year. We used to fight over seats so we could sit next to him! haha. Jeremy was a great guy! He was always the one that remembered to buy those darn single roses for all his girl friends every valentines when they were on sale in the cafetaria! lol. He was SO sweet! We miss you and love you and will see you again one day Jer! :)
Jeremy was a great guy and fun to party with. I'll never forget him, I think we need to pay our respects at the reunion for our fallen class mates. And light candles and have a moment of silence for those who can't be with us.
