He was born October 27, 1952 to John and Irene
Flom in Grand Forks, North Dakota. He spent his childhood there and attended the University of North Dakota. In 1985 he moved to the Seattle / Tacoma area where he began his 20 year career with Greenbaum Home Furnishings as an interior designer. He was an accomplished and sought-after designer who loved his work. Bob met and married Peggy Kemp Moon in 1988, becoming a wonderful husband and stepfather to a teenager (Amy) and a child with autism (Jamie). This role was difficult, but he mastered it well and was loved in return. Outside of family and work, Bob's greatest loves were motorcycles, woodworking, reading, and tools. He enjoyed bike touring and was a skilled carpenter. Golfing, photography, and travel were also favorite activities. Anyone who knew Bob also knew his love of storytelling and great sense of humor. He was a lover of life and a loved and respected man. Bob will be greatly missed by all who knew him, especially his family and Greenbaum friends. He is survived by his wife, Peggy; stepdaughter, Amy Moon of Portland, OR; stepson, Jamie Moon of Tacoma, WA; mother, Irene of Grand Forks, ND; brother, Terry (Carolyn)
