Arlene Chavez, Kyle, TX, passed away March 5, 2009 peacefully at home with her family beside her.
Arlene Mary Kujawa was born February 5, 1952, daughter of Alois and Margaret Kujawa. Arlene is survived by her husband, Robert, Kyle, TX; son, Eric (Anne Marie), Houston, TX; daughter, Angela (James), Kyle, TX; granddaughters, Ashlee and Ava; sisters, Anne (Richard), Willetts, Grand Forks, ND, Lois (Tom) Ray, Libertyville, IL.

Arlene was my close friend in High School. When we finished school she got married and was so proud of her beautiful son. Later, she and I lived together briefly (along with her toddler). She was such a carefree loving person. I feel sad that we lost touch with eachother. I am sure her husband Bob and her son and daughter are so proud of the brave battle she fought with breast cancer. I cherish the memories of the escapades that we got into. Kate
