Diane "Chickie" Jorstad age 60 of Grand Forks, ND passed away on Tuesday, July 23, 2013 at her home with her loving family at her side. Diane Sue Jorstad was born on September 21, 1952 in Grand Forks, ND the daughter of Harold "Tex" and Lucille (Srnsky) McWilliams. Diane grew up and attended school in Grand Forks graduating from Grand Forks Central High School. Diane worked for Valley Memorial Homes and worked for the Listen Drop in Center and also Development Homes for 20 plus years. On January 21, 1973 she was united in marriage to John "Jack" Jorstad in Hawley, MN. Diane also volunteered at Valley Thrift Shop in Grand Forks for a number of years. Family members that survive Diane include her husband Jack Jorstad of Grand Forks; children, Nicole (Tim) Tessin and Matthew Jorstad both of Grand Forks, her mother Lucille McWilliams of Grand Forks; siblings, Karen "Peanut" (Don) Lauckner of Bottineau, ND, Tracy (Sam) Christley of Grand Forks, Lori McWilliams of Grand Forks, Donna (Marty) Steen of Grand Forks, Tammy (Wade) Horner of Grand Forks, Roger (Sue) McWilliams of Inkster, ND, Donny (Teresa) McWilliams of Grand Forks, Randy (Dianne) McWilliams and Bobby (Mary) McWilliams; 4 grandchildren along with numerous nieces and nephews. Diane is preceded in death by her father Harold McWilliams.
