I would like to be able to post a message/comment on my brother's page since he has passed away. The following is the information I would like to have posted:

Donald Wayne Monson, 55, passed away on December 30, 2007, at his home in Grand Forks.

Donald was born on April 9, 1952, in Grand Forks, the son of Ronald and Phyllis (Johnson) Monson. He was raised in Grand Forks and graduated from Grand Forks Central High School.

Donald served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War from 1970-74. He was very proud of his service to his country.

Donald worked as a painter for Larry Rux Painting & Contracting, UND, and most recently was self-employed.

Donald is survived by his brothers; Ronald (Melody) Monson of West Fargo, ND, Ricki (Bonnie) Monson of Chesapeake, Virginia, a nephew, 3 nieces, several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He is preceded in death by his parents.
