Joe has stated that "My Central years were very hard and tough and I'm not really sure that I want to reopen those wounds." I feel bad cause I'm sure we all had our issuses in school. But as adults we should know better. Come on people.......... Joey was a real nice guy, and still is I bet?

I would like to ask everyone to use this forum for positive comments. Please do not attack other classmates for their comments, or reference how you felt about someone in our class from 20 years ago. I would hope we have all matured enough that we can accept people for who they are. Lets have fun with this forum and at the reunion this summer to get to know our classmates again. Thank you

Thank-you Randy.

I'm glad to hear Joe is doing well. I need to say something, and then I'm done.
Bill, I resent the fact that you feel just because I wasn't one of Joe "best friends", that I didn't/don't care. I never treated him badly in school,in fact I had talked to him and he is a nice guy. I care because he is a human being.
You obviously didn't/don't know me very well.

Okay, sombody needs to start a new topic......

I'd just like to say hello to all my fellow 88 classmates. I am looking forward to more classmates finding this website and updating their profiles. I am enjoying reading what everybody has been up to and where you have ended up. The photo's are always fun as well. I still need to add some of those for myself. I didn't make it to the 10 year reunion but am hoping to attend at least part of the 20 year. I am looking forward to seeing everyone and doing some catch up. If anyone wants to chat before hand, feel free to send me a message.

Kim

All of you that have been on this site so far, if you know where other individuals are please let them know about the website. We want as many people as possible to be aware of the site and register a profile. We want a great turn out at the reunion so please help us get the word out.

The next time any of you living in GF sees Tammie or Steve Burris, harass them and tell them to post!!!!! I can only threaten them so much. I told them if they didn't post something soon, that I would do it for them.
Tammie, Stacie and I are meeting in St. Cloud here in April for a girls weekend. Should be a good time.
We'll put up some pictures from that weekend as soon as we can.

While I didn't get to know everyone from our class, as I was a military transplant who beamed down from England in late fall of 1984, it is interesting to see where/how everyone is! I was the geeky music drama nerd (yeah, the one who wrote "Fanfare for the Class of 88" on the 1st page of the yearbook). I hope everyone is well, and if you remember me, feel free to drop me a line!

HI CLASS OF 88'
Man with so many classmates some names stand out while others just don't ring a bell. If I still had my year book I could look you up. Some of us sure have changed. It's too bad we didn't get to know everyone. we all just had our own clicks. I was with the group that hung out in front of city hall smoking. I wasn't in any clubs or sports just tried to pass my classes. The best was math with Mr. Johnson cause he only saw the back of my head.lol! Art class!! Mr Leach Sorry for giving you a hard time. But it was fun. And if you knew me I had a boy friend all through high school, well I married him. The only thing about high school that i would change study more and do something....join a club something. So my oldest is a junior at central in FBLA, student council, soccer, band, pit crew, central censations dancer. Excellent student.........doing what i wish i could have done. So a big HELLO to everyone from me!!

Hey Class of '88!!!!
So how many of us still have the big 80's hair???? OMG too funny. I'm so happy to see everyone update their profiles and see how wonderful and happy everyone is. What great times high school can be and how those moments helped make us all who we are today. Yes even those teachers who pushed us so hard. Now we have to deal with our children going through the same crazy moments we did and they think we're "tupid" just like we thought our parents were back then. I guess in the words of my parents "paybacks are h*ll". Growing up in ND was a fantastic experience now that I've moved away to the "south". Nice to stay in touch with you all!!!

Oh the BIG hair. Didn't we all have that? I need to pull out my year book to give my brain a memory surge on how we all looked back then!! My big hair is gone and I've got a short spikey look going. No time for primping with 3 kids to get out the door by 7am.

04/03/08 07:37 PM #16

Dennis Cutshall (Breitwieser-Cutshall)

Big Hair, wha?, who? me? ha ha
My daughter pulls out my senior pictures and yearbook and shows them to her friends! Even my friends are shocked! What a time to have investments in hair products!

Stacie Gustafson (Petterson)

Does anybody on the reunion committee know if the video we created our Senior year is still in existence? It would be fun to see if it wasn't lost or damaged in the flood!

04/08/08 01:50 PM #18

Darin Barker

I think the video still exists. I'll do some checking to see if I can find out exactly where it might be.

04/08/08 02:52 PM #19

Dennis Cutshall (Breitwieser-Cutshall)

Thanks, Stacie, I was wondering the same thing! That would be so awesome to watch it! (or even get a copy)!

04/08/08 03:52 PM #20

Tammy Finck (Rothenberger)

Man I guess when I was at school I was in the dark cause I have no clue about a video. Shh I don't think I saw it. LOL! oh well and yes I had the big hair. My 16 still makes fun of that. The 80's so rocked!!

04/08/08 06:57 PM #21

Stacie Gustafson (Petterson)

I only remember the video because I was a nervous wreck to stand and be recorded. The only question I remember having to respond to was, "What will you be doing in 10 years?" That, too, may have contributed to my nervousness--how was I suppose to know at 17!

Dennis, you may remember it because of your theater background. It would be fun to see if you put that experience to use during the recording! No drama from me, just sweat running down my forehead!

04/08/08 07:13 PM #22

Dennis Cutshall (Breitwieser-Cutshall)

Well, I don't know how much I "hammed it up" on the video, but I too remember that question, but don't remember how I answered it! LOL I think I said "doing something with music" If I recall correctly. Didn't we record it in the theater/auditorium area?

04/08/08 09:23 PM #23

Jennifer Bures (Hodny)

I remember the video. I was a nervous wreck too Stacie. All I remember is saying I hoped to be a social worker. Working with people, but not in that way.

04/09/08 08:08 PM #24

Stacie Gustafson (Petterson)

Hopefully it will be found. It doesn't seem like 20 years has past, but if we can view the video and see the styles and "big hair", the reality of 20 years may register with me. Maybe.

And I also remember it being in the auditorium.

Joe,

Take care, will keep you in my prayers.

Hey class of '88! I've enjoyed reading what many people have been up to and also realized we have some classmates without good experiences during their Central years which still cause them much stress today....that is very sad. I just noticed Joe Austin pulled his profile due to stress of re-living these past moments. Can I put out here on the message board for us to send good positive messages to those who need them and let everyone know we care about our fellow Redskins. Thanks ahead of time! Have a great day!

It's really cool too see that some people haven't changed at all...their still nice as ever.

Hi everyone. It's great to see everyone's profiles and pictures of us as we're almost 40 - woops, did I say that - and of our children. They're all so beautiful! I will get in touch with Tammie and Steve Burris since we live on the same block. It's a small world!
