William A. "Bill" Tillman

William A. "Bill" Tillman, 45, of Grand Forks, ND, died unexpectedly of natural causes on Sunday, December 27, 2009 in Grand Forks.

William Alvin Tillman was born June 30, 1964 in Grand Forks, ND to Richard and Margaret (Murphy) Tillman. He attended school at Winship Elementary, Valley Junior High and graduated from Central High School in 1982. He was employed by Highland Homes, RDO Foods, and was currently employed by S & S Transport.

Bill was an avid sports fan and was especially a fan of the New York Yankees and the Dallas Cowboys. He played softball in the Grand Forks leagues for thirty years. He was also an avid fisherman and spent a great deal of time fishing in the Devils Lake area. He enjoyed playing cards and spending time with friends and family.

He is survived by his mother, Margaret; brothers, Richard (Jackie) Bratvold, Grand Forks, ND, Steven (Janice) Bratvold, Grand Forks, ND, Brian Bratvold, California, and Douglas Tillman, Grand Forks, ND; eleven nieces and nephews; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father; grandparents; one great niece; one great nephew; two aunts and two uncles.
