Kathy Ann Spoor, 64, Grand Forks, died Friday, April 23, 2021 in her home surrounded by her family. Born October 9, 1956, she grew up in Grand Forks, graduating in 1974 from Red River High School.  She then attended Lake Region College and UND.  Kathy worked as a receptionist for Grand Forks County Social Services.

Kathy brought energy and fun to everything she did, even funerals.  She was a professional shopper, amazing baker and loved being Grandma Bubbles to her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Kathy is survived by her sone Justin (Marcella) Spoor, and sister Nancy (Robert) Stroh; brother-in-law Dave Hillebrand, her special nieces and hephews and her dog Rosey Christmas.

She is preceded in death by her parents, stepfather Harry Pich, sisters Patty Magnus, Peggy Hillebrand, and Sue Ann Spoor.

Funeral services: Friday April 30, 2021 at 1:00 p.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church, Grand Forks. Visitation held Thursday, April 29, from 5-7 p.m. with a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. at Amundson Funeral Home.  Visitation will continue 1 hour prior to the start of the service at the church.
