Odney Ellingson

 Odney Ellingson was born October 21, 1954 in Williamsport, IN the son of Odney W. and Lorraine (Doeden) Ellingson. He grew up in Grand Forks and graduated from Red River High School in 1972. He attended UND and the Dakota Wesleyan University, in Mitchell, SD receiving an Associates of Arts Degree in Law Enforcement. He moved back to East Grand Forks in 1978 where he worked for the East Grand Forks Police Department, retiring in 2008. He married Illeta Miller on May 24, 1997 in Grand Forks, ND. He also worked for area farmers and Transystems.
