Valerie Lynn Nash, 71, of Cookeville, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Cookeville Regional Medical Center in Cookeville, Tennessee.

Valerie was born on Friday, February 12, 1954, in Bagley, Minnesota. She was the daughter of the late Marvin Siegersma and the late Clarize Shelquist Siegersma.

Throughout her life, Valerie embraced joy and adventure. In her younger years, she loved riding motorcycles and carried that same free spirit with her always. She had a deep love for animals, especially her dogs, and enjoyed watching animal videos, tending to flowers, crafting, and cooking. Valerie treasured time spent with her family and was known for her warm heart, constant smile, and wonderful sense of humor, especially with children, whom she adored.
