Marilyn Staveteig Wansbutter

Marilyn (Staveteig) Wansbutter, aged 60 of Winnipeg, MB, passed away Sunday, January 4, 2015 in her home. Marilyn was born October 5, 1954 in Grand Forks, ND, the daughter of George and Elizabeth (O'Hearn) Staveteig. She was a 1972 graduate of Red River High school in Grand Forks, ND. She worked in the Grand Forks area until marrying Chris Wansbutter on April 24, 1982. The couple settled in Winnipeg, MB where Marilyn worked many years until retiring. Marilyn was a talented artist focusing on crafting jewelry, pottery and painting. She brought joy to all those she came in contact with through her caring and loving interactions. She took great pleasure in spending time with family and friends; and, loved going back to the farm and lake. Preceded in death by her husband, Chris.
