I know Jackie had had cancer and imagine that was what caused her death. She came in where I was working and was trying to help a young girl who was pregnant. She was so cheerful and energetic. I hadn't seen her in years but we had a wonderful visit. I'm sorry she's gone. Vickie Whaley (Holsan)
Jackie passed away, (it will be 12 years in May)still fighting. She fought a long hard fight - she'd had cancer for about 8 years, I think. But, she always, always had a smile & laugh for any & everyone! She still loved unconditionally, the entire time. I don't know if Jesica (her daughter with Tim) is still living here, but I know that her sister, brother & mother moved to Thoreau, NM, after her death. Her older sister, Margie, was living in Texas, at the time. A few days before she passed away, I got hold of an old Camaro steering wheel for her & she made Buddy put it on the ceiling, Laughing the entire time!! The day she died, Kathy Piland & I went to see her & she was just going to sleep. We were having a pig roast that weekend, in Utah, so had to go. My neice & her husband, planted two globe catalpas (sp) that Sat. & that was the same day she died. So, I have my Jackie tree (Rick killed the other one driving over it) to this day.
