Barbara Lynn (Patton) Hall March 24, 1955 - June 5, 2009 Barbara Lynn (Patton) Hall, 54, of Laguna Niguel passed away June 5, 2009, surrounded by her loving family after a courageous battle with Lymphoma. She is survived by her husband, Archie; her children, Ryan, Jacob, Seth and Katy, all of Southern CA; her parents, Dale and Pat Patton of Grand Junction, CO; and sisters, Debra Patton Davis, Sandra (Michael) Hobbs, Terri (Steve) Hickman; parents-in-law, Archie and Bebe Hall all of CO; sisters-in-law, Taylor Faye (Brian) Donaldson, San Francisco, CA; Galee (John) Fitch, of Gillette, Wyoming, and Kaye (Dan) Carlson, of Grand Junction, CO, and numerous nieces and nephews. Barbara was born March 24, 1955 in Grand Junction, CO. There she met her soul mate, Archie, and they married on July 20, 1975. They moved to Laguna Niguel, CA in 1991 with their four beautiful children. Here they created an incredibly full life filled with many friends, laughter and love. Her proudest achievement was being a wife and mother. She filled each day with love and devotion to her husband, children, family and friends and inspired others to do the same. She had a contagious smile, warm laughter, and a personality that lit up the room. She was loved and respected and touched all who knew her. The world is a better place because she was in it. She worked at Dana Hills High School in the special education department where impacting the lives of her students brought her joy every day. Barbara's faith and love for the Lord were evident to everyone that knew her. She lived her life in His honor and showed countless others the path to Christ. Her light shown brightly and burned out too soon. She will continue to live in our hearts and will be greatly missed. In lieu of flowers please make donations in her name to the memorial fund set up at the Coast Hills Community Church. A celebration of Barbara's life was held at Coast Hills Community Church, 5 Pursuit, Aliso Viejo, CA 92656 on Tuesday June 9, 2009.

I just don't read the newspaper often enough. I just learned of Barbara's death and find it tragic. She truly was a happy spirit and even though I haven't seen her in years, I will miss her. I feel so sad for Archie and the kids. What a loss. Vickie Whaley(Holsan)
