
David Justin Caselman September 20, 1955 - October 15, 2009 David Justin Caselman of Grand Junction, Colorado passed away October 15, 2009 at his home. He was 54. David was born September 20, 1955 to William W. and Ruth A. Caselman in Marion, Kansas, and later moved to Grand Junction in 1965. Dave was raised in Grand Junction and graduated from Central High School in 1973. He began his career in surveying in 1976 working for Intermountain Technical Services, Inc. His most recent employer had been High Desert Surveying, Inc. His interests were shooting, hunting, fishing, camping and rafting. He also enjoyed the occasional trip to Laughlin, Nevada for some R&R. He was a Life Member of the National Rifle Association and a strong believer in our nation's Bill of Rights. He supported various organizations dedicated to protecting the First and Second Amendments. Dave loved his family, his country and the Colorado outdoors where he enjoyed pursuing his interests. Dave married his friend and the love of his life, Diane Jenifer Johnson on February 12, 1983. On February 22, 1987, they were rewarded with two wonderful children on the same day, Justin Jared Caselman and Jenifer Jade Caselman. Dave leaves behind his loving wife and friend Diane, their twin children, Justin of Grand Junction, and Jenifer of Rifle; his mother, Ruth A. Caselman of Marion, Kansas; his sisters, Cheryl Loomer of Casper, Wyoming; Carol Maggard, wife of Dick Maggard of Marion, Kansas; Linda Souturas, wife of Jim Souturas of Colorado Springs, Colorado, and various nieces and nephews. His father, William W. Caselman passed away September, 2002. A funeral service was held October 24, 2009 at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. Cremation arrangements were also under their care.
