I remember Susan as always being so friendly and extremely talented. I went out with her brother Mike Asbjornson, class of '82, and he always bragged about his little sister. I heard of her passing a couple of years ago, and I know her family and friends were devasted to lose such a light in their life.
I still think about the mini 25th reunion you coordinated. I didn't know you in school, but I talked to you that night...you were a small town girl that did good. You followed your dream, you were sick then, I didn't see it. You made a very special time for me, that night, for several of us. You sang beautifuly, on stage, with your friend Lisa & Vince Vance and the Valients. I spoke to you, spoke to Lisa, didn't know that you two sang the beautiful song will always listen to at Christmas..."I'll I want for Christmas is you". You both sang it beautifully, then to think you're the original singers! What a great gift to leave on this earth, your beautiful voice. Every time I hear that song, I will think of you....As well as everyone at SGP83 should do.
