Arthur Vincent Scott, Jr. was born on October 23, 1970 in New Orleans, Louisiana to Arthur
and Jannie Carter Scott. He was the third of four children. Growing up he loved model cars,
football, wrestling and golfing. He attended and graduated from Forest Hill Central High
School of Cascade, Michigan. Arthur attended several colleges and received a Bachelors of
Science degree and was working towards a Master.s degree. Arthur was united in marriage to
Rachel Tabor from 1992-1997 and then to Shannon Frantz from 1999-2007.

Arthur was recently attending the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah.s Witnesses, proclaiming his
dedication to Jehovah. Arthur was a loving, passionate father who wanted the best for his
son. He pushed through life.s oppositions hoping for the opportunity to unite his family as one.

Arthur was a top ranking Marine, who was very passionate about his service to the
U.S.A.-"Semper Fi", he would say. Of all of his attributes, humor and loyalty were his best.
He always knew how to make you laugh and smile with his corny jokes and silly acts. He will
be missed by many; especially by those who love him most.

Arthur is survived by his son, Hunter Sterling Perry Scott; a loving father, Arthur Vincent
Scott, Sr. A devoted mother, Jannie Lee Scott. One brother, Thedrick Vernard Scott (Lissette)
of Poinciana, Florida. Two sisters: Nerondia Venecia Scott-Reeves of Norton Shores,
Michigan and Ola. Natasha Scott-Browley (Steven) of Norton Shores, Michigan. One very
special grandmother, Mary Lee Scott (Johnny). Seven Nieces: Nitzia Scott of New York,
Nadija Reeves of Michigan, Samantha Ortiz of Florida, Moiselis and Liselle Sanchez of
Florida, Charleigh and Ari. Browley of Michigan. Three nephews: Dominique and Jordan
Scott of Florida; Antonio Reeves of Michigan. A host of very special aunts, uncles, cousins
and friends.

I only knew Art for a couple years but we bonded quickly and hung out until he left for the Marines.  Art was a super guy and I’m proud to call him a friend.  The worlld deserved a man with his character and charisma.  Rest In Peace my brother.  Humanity has lost a great soul.
