KULHAWIK, ALEXANDER S. IV Alexander S. Kulhawik IV age 43, passed away Monday Dec. 2, 2013 after a 19 month battle with lung cancer. Surviving are parents Alexander Jr. "Butch" and Florence, brother Alex III (Kathy) Kulhawik, sister Alicia Kulhawik and fiancee' Rick Himebaugh, nieces Katrina and Kirstin, many aunts, uncles cousins and friends, his caregiver Chris Wheeler. Alex was a 1989 graduate of Union High School. He was an employee of Knape and Vogt for over fifteen years. His family would like to thank his friends and co-workers who helped him with his battle during his illness. Alex was a diehard Tiger and "U of M" football and basketball fan, he loved shooting pool and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Friday at 11:00 am at St. Andrew Cathedral where he will repose one hour prior. His family will receive visitors Thursday 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Arsulowicz Brothers Stocking Mortuary, 585 Stocking NW. where a Vigil Service will be held at 7:30 pm. Alex's family wishes to thank the Faith Hospice staff for their compassion and care especially Brian, Lisa, Patti and Dr. Steve. Memorial contributions to Faith Hospice will be appreciated.
