Dick, thanks for sharing your and Carol's "Love Story".  It sounds like it happened just the way it was supposed to.  I have very fond memories of Carol from high school.  I sat behind her in a study hall in our junior year.  She tried to get me and a recently former girl friend back together (I was the stubborn one so she was unsuccessful).  The fact that I still remember that experience is an indication of how special Carol was; but I don't need to tell you that.  I'm glad you were able to share 35 special years together!

Thanks for such a beautiful tribute to Carol. We were friends our senior year. She was supposed to go with me on a spring break trip but had to stay home to help with her sister who was ill. Sorry we lost touch after graduation. Glad you will always have your special memories.
