Comments:
I begin working in 1962 as an Automotive bookkeeper. I married Jim in 1965.
We moved to the Olympic Peninsula in 1975 and lived there until 1984. We loved to hike, camp, go boating. We also learned to scuba dive. We traveled every chance we could. We spent many days on the beach entertaining our siblings during the summer months. We also took a lot of ferry rides into Seattle visiting the sites and events with these same siblings.
We moved back to Grandview in 1984 to help Jim's Mom and Dad manage their farms. Jim's Dad passed away in 1985.
My sister Nancy and I also like to travel. We traveled to Mississippi and Louisiana to locate places of our ancestors and where our parents were born. Most recently we traveled to England, Ireland and Wales for the same reason and just for the fun!
Over the year's I worked as a Bookkeeper, waitress, a resort employee,receptionist for Crown Zellerbach, A Power Co. clerk, Winery Tour guide, Bank teller, Bank manager and a Computer classroom instructor.
Currently I'm working as Bookkeeper for a home health agency in Yakima two days a week.
