On Tuesday, Feb. 3, 2009, the good Lord called home another angel, Sharon Rae Uhling.

Sharon was born Jan. 2, 1946, in Grangeville, to Howard and Marge Cash. She graduated from Grangeville High School in May 1964, then married the love of her life, Lee Uhling, on July 18, 1964.

After raising her three children, Sharon started working at St. Mary's Hospital in Cottonwood until she retired on May 3, 1999. Lee and Sharon snowbirded to Yuma, Ariz., for the past 10 years, meeting many wonderful friends there.

Sharon is survived by her loving husband, Lee, and their dog Misty; two daughters, Shari Felgenhauer and husband Alan, and Michelle Kehler and husband Mike; her son, Jerry; and her five grandchildren, Jarrod, Jordan, Hailey, Colt and Avery. Also surviving are her brother, Jerry Cash and wife Sharon; sister, Shirley Stark and husband Clint; and her mother, Marge.

She was preceded in death by her father, Howard Cash, and her daughter-in-law, Gloria Uhling.

Sharon always left everyone with a smile and a laugh. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

The funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at Assumption Parish in Ferdinand, preceded by recitation of the rosary at 9:30 a.m.
