Hello!
It is great to see so many familiar names and read about everyone and their families. My attendance at the reunion will, as most will understand, dependent on the kids. I live in Sun Prairie with my wife Denise and twin sons, Andrew and Colin. I run into a small handful of West Grads on occasion and actually work with a few through state politics (Paul Merline, Ron Hermes). Just last month I ran into Stephanie Gordon at the new St. Mary's open house in Sun Prairie.
Short version of my career is that I got bitten by the political bug right out of college and have not been able to kick the habit. I have been really lucky to have had the opportunity to work for some good political leaders in Wisconsin, Maryland and Washington, DC. I met my wife Denise in DC and after living in Annapolis, we moved back to Wisconsin to raise a family. We live in a small neighborhood not too far from Bud and Laurie Keyes and I am in my second term on the Sun Prairie City Council.
Currently, I am a senior policy advisor to State Senator Dale Schultz and also do some real estate development (as much as the economy is letting anyone do it).
Hope everyone is having a great summer and hopefully we can all catch up at the reunion.
