Brittney Laboy

I was a flute player in the band from 2003-2007. My favorite year was my freshman year (2003-2004) of course because Mr. Shane was still running the band for his last year at JIL. I met a lot of great people & like 90 percent of the upperclassmen were great to me. I didn't know what to expect getting myself into marching band, I just knew I wanted something to keep me busy & active and I got just that! I learned a lot & I made such great friends from middle school that weren't my best friends before, my partner in crime, Brittany Welsh! I loved the band trips, (whether they were just to away football games, or further away to competitions, & to the theme parks). I'm excited for this upcoming reunion. I'll know only half the classes, but it will still be nice to meet new people. :)

What's been going on since 2007 :

My name is Brittney Laboy, I graduated in 2007! Glad to have made the cut to attend this reunion. :) I am still currently at PBCC working on my AA, with money issues it's going to take more than just two years for me to achieve my goals. But I am not in a rush because I've got my whole life ahead of me & I just turned 20! My major has been elementary education since I've started but I'm not too sure what I want to do anymore.. I'm undecided at this point unfortunately. I'm dating Jordan (two and a half years now), he graduated from Lake Worth in 2005, & I met him through work so he wasn't in the band or anything! We live together in Wellington, Florida with our two pups. When school is finished I really want to move up to Tennessee, I discovered last year that it is so beautiful up there, and the cost of living is cheaper than the sunshine state. Currently looking for a second job because with this economy I'm sure I'll never get a full-time position with Publix! Although if you do work for the company and I can, let me know lol :)
