I attended college at Ball State University in Muncie, IN and graduated in 1995 with a BS in Journalism/Advertising. I played in various bands throughout those years and always wanted to be able to spend more time playing music and less time studying! During my last year of college I started an advertising/marketing business with 3 employees. I sold the business 4 years later to take an Account Management position at a medium-sized agency in Carmel, IN, which offered less stress and more time to pursue music.

I continued working in sales and marketing in the print communication, graphic design and internet industries until I could make music my full time career. I moved just outside of Seattle, WA in July of 2004 to pursue music opportunities in a larger market, with a more moderate climate.

In 2007 I was one of the many who's corporate positions were dissolved due to a downturn in the economy and I decided to put all my effort into music instead of a job hunt. It was the best decision I've ever made.

I am currently still living in Washington and making a humble living playing music full time. I am currently working on my second release and am excited to share it with you. You can learn all about the music part of my life at www.kimarcherband.com

In addition to music, I truly love taking advantage of the beautiful rivers, lakes, mountains and water that I am surrounded by here in the Pacific Northwest. I particularly enjoy hiking, camping, snowshoeing and fishing.

School Story:

I have so many great memories from GHS. From the many funny stories and characteristics of particular teachers, to playing sports and hanging with friends, I treasure those experiences.
