MONTAGUE - Stephen A. Adams, 39, of Montague, passed away April 16, 2014 at home, with his family by his side, after a brief, but courageous battle with cancer.
Born Sept. 25, 1974 in Greenfield, MA, he was the son of Stephen A. and Susan M. (Tetreault) Adams. He was a graduate of Greenfield High School and recently graduated from the GCC CNC Precision Machining Class, an accomplishment that he was very proud of. He was most recently employed by Valley Steel Stamp.
Stephen was known for his ability to fix anything, and held several jobs in the manufacturing field over the years.
Steve will be remembered for his love of life, the outdoors and his friendly smile. He was a generous man who would help those in need without hesitation. He loved his family with all his heart and will be greatly missed by all. Daughter, Madison says "My Dad was an original, worth more than just a copy."
He is survived by his beloved wife, Jennifer (Ryznic) Adams, and daughter, Madison, of Montague; his mother, Susan Adams of Bernardston; sisters, Stacie Splittgerber (Luke) of Granville, NY, and Stephanie Winslow (Brian) of Northfield; nieces, Amanda and EmmaLee Harris, Hannah and Amariah Splittgerber, and twin nephews, Sean and Collin Winslow; grandmother, Ella; grandfather, Arthur; in-laws, Joseph and Julie Ryznic of Amherst, MA; brother-in-law, Joseph, Jr. of Austin, TX, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He is predeceased by his father, Stephen A. Adams.
There will be no calling hours. 
A memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family would like to thank the staff of Baystate Franklin Oncology and Overlook VNA & Hospice for their wonderful care during his illness.
