30th Reunion memories
Posted Friday, September 30, 2011 09:31 AM

I know we have reunion memory photos but would anyone care to share a memory of something that happened during the evening?

A short story or even how happy you were to see an old classmate you haven't seen in years.

I'll start......... I had at least 3 people ask me what happened to my blonde hair......lol.  My response was the truth,  after the Air Force shaved my head bald, it grew back a darker color and I was never able to get it to part in the middle again.  Age overcame vanity and over the years I've learned to just laugh about it.  As the gray hairs increase by the  numbers..... it will look close to being blonde again LOL.

I have an awesome memory to share.....

It was when I was standing near the bar...I had my butt bump Pam Petersons' and I didnt feel ashamed or embarrassed, I just turned around and hugged her and adored her huge grin and sweet as ever fun laugh. It was like we hadn't been un-knowing of each other for 30 years!

Next was when I sat next to Chris Marker at dinner and he was so naturally charming with me and others at the table including his wife, Erin, Laurie Nacker and her husband.  The conversation with Deanne Benz and Laura Moshinski was lively and we each shared a comment.  Good times!

Lastly i recall the bar time after last call in the hall.  Had a nice-to know chat with Chris Champaign and that was cool because in high school I didnt think he liked me much.  I felt he was able to be open and candid with me and for that I felt great!  (We were both slightly drunk too.  haha).

LOVED being able to hug the great-smelling real hotties at the reunion!
