GREENSBORO ANTHONY JULIUS Palmer Sr. was called home on October 19, 2014 in Greensboro, NC at Wesley Long Hospital. He was 53 years young. Anthony was born November 24, 1961 in Greensboro, North Carolina to Norma McAdoo-Little and Robert Palmer. He attended Ben L. Smith High School and served in the United States Marine Corps from 1980-1984. He then became faithfully employed with Lorillard Tobacco Company in Greensboro, NC for 23 years. Anthony is preceded in death by his parents and grandparents and survived by his wife, Lisa Palmer, 1 son, Anthony Palmer II, 2 daughters, Sierra and Joya Palmer, 2 lovely sister in laws, Lervetris Cook and Danielle Coachman, 3 nieces, Mesha Cook, Darien Coachman, and Anai Coachman-Morrison, and two grandsons, Truvon Allred and Camden Palmer. He was also loved by a special God-sister, Danielle Marsh, a second sister, Reba LeGrand, and two lifelong best friends Charles (Lukie) Comer and DuBois (Buster) Allen. Anthony was grateful to have a host of extended family members and family whom all he loved dearly. There will be a homegoing service to celebrate the life of Anthony on Thursday, October 23, 2014. Family hour will be from 12:30-1 p.m. at The Covering Church, 507 Balboa Street Greensboro, NC 27407. Memorial service will follow at 1 p.m. Arrangements by Community Funeral Service, Inc.
