Myra Scoggins Avant, 61, of Greensboro, NC passed away at Southeast Georgia Health System in Brunswick, GA on July 30, 2022. Myra was born March 11, 1961 in Greensboro, NC, the daughter of Harry Lee Scoggins and Shirley Wise Scoggins.

Myra Scoggins Avant was preceded in death by her father Harry Scoggins and husband, Billy Avant.

She is survived by her mother Shirley Wise Scoggins, her sister, daughter Laura Tilley and husband Michael Tilley, grandchildren, Ivana, Cameron, Benjamin, Riley, and Oliver.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, September 3, 2022 at Aycock Fellowship Ministries, 1036 South Josephine Boyd St., Greensboro, NC 27403.
