THOMASVILLE — Mr. Gary Ray Venable, 52, of Thomasville passed away Monday, May 13, 2013, at the Thomasville Medical Center. Gary was born in High Point a son of Jacqueline Heilig Venable of Greensboro and the late Bobbie Ray Venable.

A 1979 graduate of Smith High School, Greensboro, Gary worked for Timco Aviation as an airplane mechanic. He was a member of Immanuel Baptist Church of Greensboro was an avid hunter, loved the outdoors and loved spending time with his great nieces and nephews.

Survivors in addition to his mother include, wife Lisa Farrar Venable who he married on May 31, 1990, and sister, Gayle Collins of Greensboro.

A Memorial Service will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, May 16, 2013, at Immanuel Baptist Church by Rev. J. Russell Reaves, pastor.
